KELSEY
is an older gal who was thrown outside and left behind in a low income housing complex when her owner moved. Thankfully, a compassionate resident of this complex contacted Forgotten Felines as winter was coming on and she, herself, couldn't take her in and was afraid she would not survive the coming winter as she looked old and frail.
The lady was right, she would never have survived that brutal winter a few years ago in her condition then. But as you can see, Kels has blossomed in her foster home and is now content to be a permanent family member where she is loved. She is no longer "old" nor frail but dictates her preferences as only a true calico can do!...lol.
GRAYBRIER is a gorgeous light gray tabby who came into the yard of a Forgotten Felines foster home, extremely afraid. It took weeks before he was able to be captured and brought to the vet to be neutered and vaccinated. At first he became a special friend of Butterscotch, a yellow boy kitty, but was still terrified of people. But then Butterscotch was adopted and the family didn't want two kitties, especially one so shy. Finally, very very slowly, "Graybri" started to become friendly to people. He now resides inside his foster home where he has a couple of close kitty friends and is no longer afraid of anyone at all but instead is a very loving and affectionate fella. And what he likes best about his foster home is breakfast! Besides sitting in a lap watching TV in the evening.
DANIGIRL
Born outside and rescued by a kind person who brought her to a Forgotten Felines foster home. Was a feral kitten but now a very loving miss whose energy and zest for life never ceases to amaze any whose path in life she crosses. Has vision in only one eye because of an untreated URI when an outside kitten but she can and does more than kitties with great vision. She is enjoying life in her permanent foster home.
MISSY came from a very bad situation in the Bronx, living in a homeless district but belonging to no one. Now she is a permanent resident in her foster home as she is a little "fiesty" due to having had to fend for herself for so long. She has become much more loving and follows her foster mom around like a little "puppy dog." She has her own separate heated quarters and above is her picnic table which she has decided is her very own.

ROSIE was one of the rare kittens born with the FIV virus. She had been adopted from a shelter and returned before of her illness and would have been euthanized but for a Forgotten Felines rescuer bringing her into her foster home. Although Rosie has had some medical issues along the way, her vet has always treated her successfully. She has always embraced life with a zest unusual even in a normal kitten. Rosie is now 11 years old and although she has slowed down some, she is still enjoying life to the fullest.
